Kerry Katona has issued a grovelling apology to Molly-Mae Hague after criticising her baby name.
Earlier this week the former Atomic Kitten singer, 42, blasted Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury over their baby name choice and admitted she "isn't a fan".
Kerry even went as far as urging the new parents, both 23, to change their daughter Bambi's name and warned she risks "getting stick" in school over the moniker.
But now after Molly-Mae admitted the ' nasty' reaction to her baby's name was 'hard' to handle the mum-of-five has begged the new mum for forgiveness and admitted she was being a "w***er" when she made the "harsh" comments.
"Yeah it's really played on my mind this has, I personally haven't seen any backlash from what I said, but when I saw it in my column I thought bloody hell Kerry! That sounds a bit harsh!" she said on Instagram, tagging Molly-Mae in the post.
"I was trying to be a comedian and sometimes when you mix the two it doesn't come across very well," she continued.
"Bambi Fury is a great name! Since I said it, it's really, really, really played on my mind. I would never want to bring anybody down.
"I would never want to bully anybody or hurt anybody. I'm not that kind of person in the slightest.
"Sometimes I'll say something that I think is funny and it actually isn't.
"What can I say... my son is named after bloody Max Clifford! Do you know what I mean?
"That says it all really! What do I know? What do I know? Ignore me. Bambi Fury. Stars name in the making."
The Love Island couple announced the arrival of their baby daughter in a touching post on Instagram last Monday, after Jake Paul leaked the news that Molly-Mae had given birth, and a day later unveiled the unique name they have chosen for their tot.
As she posted a photo of the newborn in her cot – which fans have discovered retails at £8,000 – Molly-Mae revealed the name she and Tommy had chosen as she included a neon sign in the picture, which read 'Bambi'.
She then simply wrote the newborn's name in the caption followed by a white heart emoji.
Molly-Mae's name reveal has divided fans – which could have sparked her to turn the comments on the post off as the option to comment on the post was removed shortly after the image was shared.
Kerry soon weighed in on the debate. Writing in her latest OK! magazine column earlier this week, the TV personality shared she wasn't a fan of the name.
"Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced the birth of their daughter last week. It’s lovely news, but I must admit I’m not a fan of the name," she said.
"I think Bambi Fury sounds a bit ridiculous. It reminds me of the Disney film where the mother gets shot! The poor kid might get some stick in school."
Kerry then added: "If they haven’t registered the name yet, maybe they should consider changing it. But each to their own…"
It comes after Molly-Mae revealed she knew fans would either "love or hate" the name before making the big reveal and said she had the name picked out since she was a child.
She previously said: "It's not made up, it's totally not made up, I can't explain it. It's just not a name that's ever been used before. It's very very different and rare and you're either going to love it or hate it."
Despite fans being split, Molly-Mae revealed her beau Tommy 'loved' the name when she told him of her hopes to name her tot Bambi.
She added: "I've had the name picked out since I was a baby girl myself. It's always been a dream baby girl name and luckily when I met Tommy and I told him the name I've always dreamt of using, he absolutely loved it too.
"It's a really really unusual and a different name, I do not know anybody else with the name. I've not seen any other girls with the name before, it's that different."
