KOTTAYAM: Three men, who were out for an early morning walk at Nooranad in Alappuzha on Thursday were killed while their friend was injured after they were knocked down by a speeding truck. The truck did not stop after the accident. However, later in the day, the driver of the speeding vehicle surrendered before the police.
The deceased were identified as Erumakkuzhy natives V M Raju (66) and Ramachandran Nair (73) and Panayil native Vikraman Nair (58). Rajasekharan Nair (65), also a Panayil native, was injured. All four were close friends.
