Kerala reports 543 new cases of Covid-19, 81 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala reported 543 new cases of Covid-19 and 81 deaths on Friday and took the total to 65,30,194 and 67,631 so far.

Of the 81 deaths, two occurred in the last few days but were not recorded due to late receipt of documents and 79 were designated as Covid-19 deaths after receiving appeals based on the new guidelines of the Centre and the directions of the Supreme Court.
