Kemar Roofe has suffered another injury and will be out of action at Rangers for the next few weeks.
The Jamaican international has had a torrid time of fitness issues this season and only just returned to playing last week in the Premier Sports Cup against Dundee. He has not been included in their Champions League squad and was therefore unavailable to face Napoli midweek, but manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed he will miss Saturday's huge match in the Premiership against Aberdeen.
It's a game of high importance for the Dutchman as sections of the fanbase call for him to go amid waning performances from Rangers and a calamitous European campaign that will see them out of continental football altogether before Bonfire Night. He said of the injuries at present and Aberdeen: "Kemar (Roofe) has picked up an injury so will be missing for a couple weeks. No injuries from the game midweek.

"We are well prepared for tomorrow and ready to put in a performance for the three points. We know the crowd will be behind us pushing us on.
"We know this is influenced by our performance - I'm positive it will be a good display. It’s very important to win after dropping points last weekend.
"We want a positive result and a positive display."
