Kelvin Fletcher has confirmed that he and his wife Liz Marsland have welcomed their twins into the world.

The proud dad, 38, shared his first photograph of the boys on Instagram on Wednesday

He wrote: “A gift from God. Welcome to the world my little boys.”

“They are here!! My heart is filled with so much love and gratitude,” Marsland said posting a similar picture of her own on the photo sharing app.

Strictly Come Dancing winner Fletcher’s celebrity friends were quick to offer their congratulations among the sea of comments.

“Awww beautiful! Congratulations you guys!!” Wrote former Emmerdale actress Natalie Anderson, followed by two red heart emojis.

“CONGRATS TO THE WHOLE FAMILY” Declared RuPaul Drag Race favourite and Fletcher’s former Strictly Come Dancing co-star Michelle Visage.

“Congrats mate!! Fantastic news!” Added racing driver Chris Buncombe.

While ex Holby star Laila Rouass simply opted for three red heart emojis.

Fletcher - who played Andy Sugden in ITV soap Emmerdale from 1996 until 2016 - and Marsden got married in 2015 following a romantic beach proposal in Wales.

They originally met as children but the couple didn’t get together until two years after Marsland had finished her university studies.

The couple also share daughter Marnie, five, and son Milo, three.

They first confirmed they were expecting in December.

During an appearance on BBC Breakfast, Fletcher and his wife then broke the happy news that it was twins.

The mum told the presenters: “We’re having another two more children!”

They admitted they were “shocked” to find out they were expecting twins, joking it was an “another curveball”.

He added: “We just recently found out, to add another curveball if you like. We don’t really do things by halves and then we found out we’re having not just one baby, but two.”

His wife added: “It was a shock.”
