Kell Brook finally secured the respect he's long felt he has lacked from Amir Khan with a devastating victory against his arch-rival in Manchester.
A sixth-round stoppage saw Brook crowned as the fight's victor, having inflicted significant punishment upon his opponent since the first bell.
It was a fine performance from the experienced fighter and will likely mark the end of Khan's illustrious career, with the Bolton fighter all but confirming his retirement.
For Brook, meanwhile, a number of options lie ahead following his stellar victory that could see him prolong his career - or indeed hang up his gloves alongside Khan.
Chris Eubank Jr
During Sky Sports' coverage of Brook's victory over Khan, Chris Eubank Jr made an appearance on the punditry gantry and outlined his own rivalry with Brook - making it clear he wants to face-off against him.
Eubank Jr is currently with a free schedule following his win earlier this month against Liam Williams in Cardiff and Brook talked-up a bout himself backstage after his win.
An all-British affair between the pair would get a lot of backing and attract plenty of attention, making it an appealing prospects for both fighters as well as promoters.
Connor Benn
Connor Benn's push to face the winner of Khan vs Brook had been ongoing for a while and, following Brook's triumph, he doubled-down in his push to be named as an opponent.
Benn is a friend of Khan's and is pushing to avenge his loss in Manchester, though Eubank Jr's push to face-off against Brook may complicate matters.
It may be that Eubank Jr is seen as the more attractive option for Brook, as there's a considerable age difference with Benn and there isn't the grudge like there is on his other option.
Retirement
Many believe that Brook should hang up his gloves following his victory over Khan, which would certainly cap-off his career.
Given his injury history, with both eye sockets having been reconstructed, it would make sense for Brook to retire and avoid further issues, which could be damaging for the long-term.
Financially, Brook has made it clear he is a prize fighter and any return to the ring would have to be lucrative for his family.
