Keith Duffy admitted he felt self-conscious and depressed before his recent weight loss of over two stone.
The singer took to Instagram to discuss his transformation, which was motivated by his recent Boyzlife tour. Keith and former Westlife singer Brian McFadden formed the hybrid musical duo in 2016, which recently toured across the UK.
Keith said he embarked on a training programme 12 weeks before the Boyzlife gigs in order to get back in shape. He cut out alcohol and adhered to a strict diet to achieve his goal.

He wrote on Instagram: "On the 1st of Feb I was 103kg and felt depressed, self conscious and down in myself. Knowing the opening night of Boyzlife was about 12 weeks away I decided to fight all the demons and take care of myself."
He thanked the Dublin personal training studio Body Byrne for helping him reach 88kg over the course of the programme. The 48-year-old said he has never felt better in his life and appealed to his followers to show kindness to themselves.
Boyzlife concluded their 'Old School Pt 2' tour with dates in Cardiff and Tunbridge Wells on May 26 and 27. The duo perform original music alongside a medley of well-known Westlife and Boyzone hits.
