Keira Walsh avoids ACL injury but England midfielder likely to miss rest of World Cup

England midfielder Keira Walsh has not suffered an anterior cruciate ligament knee injury, but is a major doubt to play at this World Cup again.

Walsh injured her knee during England’s 1-0 win over Denmark on Friday, which sent them top of Group D and on the verge of qualifying for the last-16.
