Keely Hodgkinson named BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2024

Team GB’s women’s 800m Olympic gold medalist Keely Hodgkinson has been voted the BBC Sports Personality of the Year for 2024.

As a result, she becomes fourth woman in a row to win the award, following Mary Earps in 2023, Beth Mead in 2022 and Emma Raducanu in 2021. Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler, finished second in the vote, while cricketer Joe Root was third.
