Katie Taylor was unimpressed with Jake Paul's "nonsense" suggestion that her rematch with Amanda Serrano should take place at featherweight.
Serrano and Taylor fought to a split decision for the undisputed lightweight titles at Madison Square Garden back in April in what was billed as the biggest women's fight in history. Paul co-promoted the bout for Serrano alongside Eddie Hearn, who has dealt with Taylor since her highly-anticipated move from the amateurs in 2016.
And after initially seeming cordial, the relationship between the two sides soured throughout fight week, with even the soft-spoken Taylor engaging in some of the trash talk. And it seems to have stayed aggressive, with talks over a potential rematch at the 83,000-capacity Croke Park in Dublin stalling and Paul now suggesting that Taylor should move down to Serrano's weight.
