Katie Price has shared how she’s “focusing on the future” after opening up about her struggles which she said include "suicide action". The 44-year-old model and media personality took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 7 to discuss being “near death” and thanked her friends and family for their support.
"Wtf everyone seems to be dying in my industry of work at the moment,” Katie began. "I'm just sticking to being strong and sticking to therapist's advice and focusing on the future knowing I've been near death in causing my own suicide actions that thankfully I survived and realised I have a future and life.

In the past, Katie has been open about her struggles with mental health. She previously spoke about facing depression and PTSD in her Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Trauma and Me.
In the film, she revealed: “I tried to kill myself,” before adding that she knocked herself out and gave herself black eyes. She said that at the time, she “didn’t want to be here” after waking up with bruises round her neck.
Katie’s recovery was aided by a stay at The Priory clinic, which she referenced in her latest Instagram Story. She first checked herself into the clinic after being arrested for drink-driving.
In September 2021, Katie flipped her car during an accident near her home in Sussex. She was given a 16-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, a two-year driving ban and 100 hours of community service after admitting to drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance.
