Carl Woods called time on his relationship to Katie Price after he accused her of cheating on him, according to sources.
The car salesman, 33, had been due to marry his reality TV star fiancée, 43, later this year, but reportedly announced it was all over when he confronted her in a series of angry text messages.
“Carl believes Katie went behind his back with another man. He lashed out in a series of texts and accused her of lying to him and using her pals to hide the phone number of the man he thinks she’s been seeing,” a source told The Sun.
“He branded her ‘a cheat and a player’ and told her he has had enough. He feels he can no longer trust her and it’s the end of the road,” they added.
The former couple got engaged last April — 10 months after they started dating.
They have tattoos of each other’s faces inked on their bodies and openly discussed their desire to have a baby together.
Speculation first began that they had split when Mr Woods’ deleted all traces of the veteran model from his Instagram account.
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that the mother-of-five’s engagement ring did not appear to be on her finger as she posted a series of videos on social media on Friday.
She shared a clip of herself dressed in a pink tracksuit without the ring, but it appeared to make a return in a second clip posted directly after.
It comes days after Woods appeared in court accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in a row with Price.
He is set to face trial after pleading not guilty to the charges.
He arrived at Colchester Magistrates’ Court holding hands with the model. However, he later shared a cryptic post, saying: “This is what loyalty looks like”, alongside a picture of himself and his dog.
Neither have yet commented publicly on the current status of their relationship.
Ms Price has been engaged seven times before and has been married three times, including to Australian singer Peter Andre, 49, whom she first met when they both competed on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
