Katie Price arrived at court hand-in-hand with her fiancé Carl Woods for his hearing.
The former Love Island contestant was spotted making his way to Colchester Magistrates’ this morning, after he was charged by police under under Section 4 of the Public Order Act, following an arrest in August, writes The Mirror.
The initial hearing was supposed to take place on March 10, but had to be pushed back two weeks, as Carl and Katie were on holiday in Thailand.
Katie showed off the two new tattoos she got during their lavish holiday as she stood by her man.
The former glamour model arrived wearing a pair of huge visor sunglasses which covered the majority of her face.
An insider claimed that Carl was allowed to stay on holiday for the sake of Katie's 'mental health'.
"The change of date was instigated by the defence side," the source told Mail Online .
"They asked for the case to be moved for a couple of weeks on the basis of him being currently in Thailand looking after Katie's mental health. The holiday was organised as a much needed break from it all for her."
In February Carl lashed out at people who were accusing him of hitting Katie, claiming that he's a 'victim of lies'.
He went on to insist that the charge brought against him is nothing to do with the alleged assault on Katie last year, and instead, said it referred to an argument they had in the street, during which he admits he used 'foul language'.
Carl said in a video on his Instagram story: "So everyone that's messaging me saying, 'Oh you attacked Katie, you did this, the truth is out' - no, the truth's not out. It's not out at all.
"Look at what's been written, nowhere has it said that I've been charged with assaulting Katie, they haven't said that. No one's said I've been charged with coercive controlling behaviour, nobody's said that, 'cause it's not true, it hasn't happened."
He went on: "I'll tell you now, I was charged with a public order [offence], yeah I have been, me and Katie argued in the street, yeah I used foul language, I got charged for that okay, that's a public order offence, nothing to do with anything else."
Continuing to insist he has proof, he continued: "I didn't lay a finger on her, right, didn't ever coercively control her, anyone who thinks you can control Katie you've got to be off your head 'cause you can't, right.”
In a statement, Essex Police told The Mirror: "A man arrested following an incident in Little Canfield, on August 23 2021, has been charged.
"Carl Woods, 33, of The Meadows, Dunmow Road, Little Canfield, has been charged under Section 4 of the Public Order Act.
