Hollyoaks actress Katie McGlynn has shared a vile message a "married dad" sent her on Instagram.
The former Corrie star said she has been sent a number of unsolicited explicit images since sharing a post calling for those who send them to be given jail time.
It comes as a new law could see anyone who sends such pictures spending up to two years in prison.

Taking to her Instagram story, she said: "Shared this post the other day and it got quite a big reaction, surprise surprise! Just checked my DMs and 3 people have sent me unsolicited d*** pics since! WHY WHY WHY [vomiting emoji]"
Katie then shared a disturbing message - the contents of which the ECHO has chosen not to repeat - sent to her by a "married dad".
She said: "And it's not just the pics! This is the kind of stuff I get sent frequently.
"Apologies in advance for the disgusting language".
Katie, who is single, marked Valentine's Day with two friends.
A photo of them out for drinks was captioned: "Who needs Valentine's when you have Galentine's?"
Katie, who rose to fame after starring in Coronation Street, currently plays Becky Quentin in Hollyoaks.
