Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins might have to cancel her festive performance for the Pope as her luggage got lost en route to Italy. The Neath-born mezzo-soprano is meant to be singing at the Vatican's annual Concerto di Natale as part of Pope Francis' Christmas celebrations this weekend.
A frequent performer for the Pope and presidents, Katherine shared the irritating news on Twitter that British Airways had lost her bags, and it wasn't the first time, either.
She wrote: "OMG! @British_Airways have lost my bags AGAIN! I’m supposed to be singing tomorrow for the Pope’s Christmas concert in Rome. I feel so let down as I will not be able to perform. Please sort this out."

British Airways responded on Twitter to the call by Katherine but it's not yet clear that she's been reunited with her luggage. Back in 2013 German company Lufthansa came under fire from the singer for the same thing, but this time it was her running kit that went missing, when she was in Berlin and couldn't continue her training for the London Marathon. In a sassy response to the loss, Katherine asked the airline if they'd sponsor her in raising money for Macmillan Cancer Research to make up for it.
Katherine has already had a busy Christmas concert schedule and last week performed with Sir Cliff Richard and Lord of the Rings and Marvel star, Andy Serkis, at the Royal Albert Hall's Christmas event - her 50th appearance at the venue.
