Kate Garraway was left gutted at the end of Friday's Good Morning Britain when she and Ben Shephard had to say goodbye to one of their co-stars who is quitting the show.
Many viewers' top pick for GMB's main presenting duo, Kate and Ben were back together to front the final episode of the week and someone who joined them on screen was Pip Tomson, the former Tyne Tees journalist who has been a very popular addition to the Good Morning Britain family over the last decade.
Pip confirmed her departure from GMB on Thursday night via a Twitter post, in which she wrote: "The sun is now setting on my (almost) 10 yrs at Good Morning Britain & ITV. Its been both fun, infuriating, inspiring & unforgettable. Proud to play a part in such a great show. But so excited about what’s coming next."

Kate and Ben halted Friday's live broadcast shortly after 7.45am, to pay a special tribute to Pip, with Kate telling her: "You're going to be a huge loss to us on the team here and me personally," as Ben added: "Thanks for being a lovely member of the team."
Pip looked emotional as she described her time on Good Morning Britain as 'an absolute joy,' continuing: "What you see at home is really what's it like; it's a great family, everyone is just amazing to work with," with Ben quipping: "Why you leaving then Pip?!"
Noticing Pip was tearing up, Kate told her: "Don't cry! Don't cry!" as Pip replied: "New adventures await and... it's just time. It's been fabulous, thank you everybody."
