White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt joined President Donald Trump in slamming right-wing voices critical of the war in Iran.

Speaking to press at the White House, Leavitt said she would "remind people that X is not real life" and that "Trump lives in the real world."

"There is nothing more America First than taking out terrorists who have maimed and killed our servicemen and women," she added.

Several right-wing figures, including commentators Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, and former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, have slammed the recent developments, with the former calling them "absolutely disgusting and evil," saying Trump has "lost his way."

Speaking to ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl, Trump was asked about Carlson calling the attacks "absolutely disgusting and evil."

"I knew that a long time ago, and he's not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that," Trump said.

Greene reacted to the publication, saying "Trump doesn't even know what MAGA is anymore" and he is "not America First, he's donor first."

"Tucker would beat Trump if he ran for President and Trump tried to violate the constitution and tried to run again for a third term," she concluded.

Trump had already taken on the commentators, including Carlson and Megyn Kelly, saying "I think that MAGA is Trump, MAGA's not the other two."

"MAGA wants to see our country thrive and be safe. And MAGA loves what I'm doing, every aspect of it," Trump added, claiming that the war is a "detour that we have to take in order to keep our country safe and keep other countries safe."

He went on to take aim at Kelly specifically, saying she should "study her history book a little bit."

"Megyn was opposed to me for years when I ran the first time and nothing stopped me," Trump stated. "And so, you know, some people are against — and they always come back. She came all the way back. But now I guess she maybe doesn't like the idea of this war, but I do because I have to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranians," Trump said.
