Karnataka: Transgenders united to fight for their rights in Hosapete

Transgender Hosapete Karnataka Vijayanagara Ballari

HOSAPETE (VIJAYANAGARA): When Vijayanagara new district was formed after bifurcation of Ballari district in Karnataka, transgenders were left unattended due to lack of a community organisation. Now, as many as 161 transgenders are united to lead a respectful life in Vijayanagara district.

They have floated their own organisation called Chiguru Samudaya Seva Samsthe. They are getting transgender cards for their community members.
