Karnataka high court directs state govt, SEC to hold elections to BBMP before Dec 31

BBMP Karnataka Bengaluru

BENGALURU: The Karnataka high court on Friday directed both the state government and the State Election Commission (SEC) to hold elections to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) by December 31, 2022 by redoing the reservation list.

The BBMP has been without an elected body for more than two years now.
