BENGALURU: The state government has streamlined the process of getting a no-objection certificate (NOC) for CBSE/ICSE and other board schools in the state. Not only is it specifying regulations for CBSE and ICSE institutions, but has also brought IB and IGCSE boards under its ambit through the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Issue of No Objection Certificate and Control) Rules, 2022.
"Even while the schools had to get NOC in the past, there was a vacuum and the process was never streamlined. That is why it was decided to bring in a set of rules to specify the process for it," said Vishal R, commissioner, department of public instruction.
