Judoka Kapil Parmar on Thursday created history as he won India's first-ever medal in judo at a Paralympic Games. It was the first time that an Indian judoka had qualified in the discipline for the Games. Parmar scored an emphatic win over Brazil's Elielton de Oliveira in the men's J1 60kg bronze medal playoff on Thursday.
