Kanye West samples Kim Kardashian's SNL monologue about him in new song

Kanye West has used a section of Kim Kardashian's Saturday Night Live (SNL) monologue about him in his new album, but has not included the part where the mogul joked she divorced the rapper due to "his personality".

The rapper, 44, however did include his estranged wife, 41, calling him "the greatest rapper of all time" and the "richest black man in America", when she appeared on the comedy show in October.

The sampling of Kim's monologue was revealed at a listening event on Tuesday night in a Miami stadium for his new album, Donda 2, and features on single 'Sci Fi', NME reports.

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February last year after nearly seven years of marriage, and at first the split seemed amicable.

However in recent months a public feud has developed between the two, with Kanye sharing explosive rants on social media and making repeated swipes at Kim's new boyfriend, SNL cast member Pete Davidson, 28.

Kim, who shares children North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two, with the hit maker spoke about their split in October, when she hosted SNL.

She said: "I married the best rapper of all time,” and referred to West as “the richest black man in America” and “a talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids.”

She then went on to jokingly say: "So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.”

It was also revealed at the listening event that he had kept the line: "God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass," in the song Eazy.

The event came just days after he leaked messages from the SKIMS founder, as she pleaded with him to stop threatening Pete over fears somebody would get hurt.

Earlier this month, the chart-topper let rip at Pete, in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts branding him a "d***head", mocking his Hillary Clinton tattoo and sharing a private message from him.

Kanye later also issued an apology to Kim following his rants at Pete, 28, and sharing private messages between himself and her, which have since been deleted.

Kanye and actress Julia Fox split earlier last week, in the wake of admitting he wants Kim back.

The LoanDepot Park stadium in Miami was in darkness throughout the whole performance on Tuesday night, with attendees - including Elon Musk, French Montana and Rick Ross - being told to switch off their phones.

The only light came from a burning house - a replica of Kanye’s childhood home in Chicago - in the centre of the stage, surrounded by water.
