Kane and Bellingham struggle as England fail to seal top spot in World Cup group

  • England failed to seal top spot in their group as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Ghana on Tuesday, and The Independent’s Kieran Jackson rated all of the players.
  • Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham starred in England’s win over Croatia last week, but struggled to make an impact this time around and were both handed 5/10.
  • However, Anthony Gordon was rated even lower at 4/10, and could be at risk of losing his starting spot to Marcus Rashford when England play Panama on Saturday.
  • England managed to keep a clean sheet, with Ezri Konsa and Djed Spence seen as the pick of the defenders as they both received 7/10.
