The campaign declined invitations to participate in more debates, stating that 'the debate about debates is over.' However, Harris will be taking part in a debate with Trump hosted by ABC on September 10, while Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will engage in a debate with Vance hosted by CBS on October 1.
A senior campaign adviser mentioned that Harris is open to the possibility of an additional debate with Trump in October, but the specifics will only be finalized after the first debate takes place. The adviser indicated that assuming Trump participates in the first debate, Harris is willing to engage in a second debate.
