Kai Havertz's recent form for Chelsea has been nothing short of superb as the £72million man becomes an undroppable for Thomas Tuchel.
The Germany international endured a slow start at the Blues last season after signing from Bayer Leverkusen, but definitely impressed as his debut campaign in England went on.
At just 22-years-old, Havertz has the world at his feet and has been backed plenty of times by Tuchel, even when he has not been in the best of form.
However, recently, the German has been sensational for Chelsea. Thursday night's win against Norwich City saw Havertz bag his fourth goal in as many games in all competitions.
After some strong work at the edge of the box from N'Golo Kante, the midfielder found Havertz in space, who took a touch and set the ball onto his left foot before finding the top corner.
It was an accomplished finish from someone who looks to be getting better and better with every passing game.
His brace against Burnley at the weekend was fantastic, too, with the German scoring two very different types of goals.
The first saw Havertz peel off at the far post and find the bottom corner with a smart header, with his second being a typical poacher-type goal - something we'd usually see from your classic 'number nine'.
He also scored against Lille in the Champions League last month, once again showing his prowess in the air, heading the ball in from a corner.
In recent weeks, the former Bayer Leverkusen attacker has shown that he is capable of scoring different types of goals - and his link-up play, especially with Mason Mount, has been terrific.
Speaking to the media last month, Tuchel acknowledged that Havertz needed to add more goals to his game in order to take himself to the next level - and he has answered that call in style.
Tuchel said: "If we isolate the goal scoring, then yeah, we expect more and he expects more, but the consistency in what he is given to the team, he has stepped up and pretty consistent.
"We can see a lot of intensity in his game and physicality. He has stepped that up this season, we have seen in training.
"I think he is in the process of being more reliable and being more consistent. Of course, he is an offensive player and has the ability to score. We want more goals and he wants more goals.
"In this part of the game, he can improve, be more clinical and precise. Use this technique better in shooting. So there is room to develop.
"He has stepped up twice in big matches, in big moments, and this can only be good for his development."
Tuchel spoke about the technique in his shooting needing to improve. When he watches the goal against Norwich back, the Chelsea boss will know his demand has been met.
