Kadarius Toney sent a NSFW message to Giants fans with the finger he used for his Super Bowl ring

As the No. 20 overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, the New York Giants once expected big things from receiver Kadarius Toney. An explosive playmaker in college, he was supposed to be Daniel Jones’ best friend.

But then injuries and consistency issues robbed Toney of most of his rookie year. And around halfway through his sophomore campaign, the Giants dealt Toney away to the Kansas City Chiefs. In terms of finding greener grass on the other side, Toney turned out to have incredible luck, playing an integral role in the Chiefs’ win in Super Bowl 57.

And in a recent video, after the Chiefs unveiled their latest Super Bowl rings last week, Toney had a unique message for the New York organization and Giants fans. He, uh, used his middle finger while wearing his Super Bowl ring on it… if you know what I mean.

(Warning: NSFW gesture in the video below).

Look, I can’t say I know what it’s like to be in the mind of a professional athlete who’s been traded to another team. But I do know what it’s like to be given up on. Heck, we probably all understand that sinking feeling when we realize someone doesn’t believe in us. I know Toney wasn’t the picture of reliability while wearing Big Blue’s uniform, but the Giants barely gave him a season and a half to live up to his potential.

So, of course he’s still going to be understandably bitter.

So, of course he’s going to rub salt in the wound for the franchise that drafted him because he climbed the NFL’s tallest mountain without it.

Toney’s earned that right. I don’t blame him for using his well-earned Super Bowl ring to show he found a better pro football home.

This was how Twitter reacted to Toney's NSFW Super Bowl ring gesture
