Global music icon Justin Timberlake and world-renowned golfer Tiger Woods have launched T-Squared Social, a distinctive sports bar located in the bustling area of East 42nd Street in Manhattan.
The establishment aims to offer a blend of high-end entertainment and luxury, setting it apart from conventional sports bars.
Developed in association with NEXUS Luxury Collection and 8AM Golf, T-Squared Social presents an eclectic drink menu, encompassing craft cocktails, assorted beers and an extensive range of wines, according to People.
The culinary offerings at the bar provide a gourmet twist to traditional favorites, including flatbreads, sandwiches and salads.
The venue is in the lobby of the historic Emigrant Savings Bank, a property of Howard Milstein, the owner of 8AM Golf.
“The interior, crafted by the renowned Manhattan-based ForrestPerkins design studio, reportedly spans 22,000 square feet and features a majestic 32-foot marble bar, exclusive “Box Seats,” a secluded “Vault” room for private gatherings and a plethora of televisions, with a 200-inch flat-screen taking the spotlight as New York City’s largest,” said Benzinga.
For those seeking active entertainment, the bar is also equipped with Full Swing golf simulators, duckpin bowling and darts.
“The idea for T-Squared Social came to us during a round of golf at Albany, our development in The Bahamas. Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favorite things and brings people together to just have a great time. We always knew we wanted to do something together, and NEXUS gave us the platform to bring our idea to life,” said Woods in a release.
Timberlake also highlighted the venue’s unique appeal and its promising prospect in the vibrant city of New York.
The establishment could potentially rival entertainment venues like Dave & Buster’s Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAY), which saw a recent stock increase of 1.18%, and Topgolf Callaway Brands Corp (NYSE: MODG) whose stock was down by 2%, at the time of writing.
