'Just play the kids' - Manchester United fans call for Alejandro Garnacho after Everton defeat

Manchester United fans have called for Ralf Rangnick to pick academy players for the rest of the season following the defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.

United's top four hopes now hang by a thread after defeat on Merseyside in the early kick-off. United started brightly enough with Marcus Rashford being denied twice by good saves from Jordan Pickford.

In the 27th minute, Anthony Gordon scored the only goal of the game when his strike deflected off Harry Maguire and past David de Gea. Following the goal, United struggled to create any real chances with the Toffees holding strong to boost their chances of survival.

Despite being kept to just the one goal, United's youngsters could easily have scored more and supporters are now calling for the likes of Garnacho to be given a chance in the first team. Take a look at what fans have been saying on Twitter.
