Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz need Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to improve key area to succeed

Mikel Arteta has done a brilliant job taking Arsenal from eleventh when he took over to a title challenge in just over three years at the club. An FA Cup and Community Shield were secured early on and post silverware has seen a major push to overhaul the squad ready for a consistent challenge for regular honours that will hopefully be near-finished this summer.

Arsenal are looking to bring in major talent and have already agreed to a deal to sign Kai Havertz from Chelsea, football.london understands. Moves for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber are also progressing with the hope of resolutions in the near future.

The trio add serious depth to the three areas of Mikel Arteta’s team and there are suggestions the Gunners aren’t done with just them.. However, despite the Spaniard’s excellent track record with the club, there remain some individual qualities that need to develop in order the maximise the squad next season.
