Football fans have been poking fun at Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ahead of the Merseyside outfit completing the signing of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguayan international, who was also the subject of interest from United, is set to join Liverpool on a six-year contract in a deal that is set to be initially worth £64million. However, the final price could rise by an additional £21.3million with add-ons.
That could make Nunez Liverpool's most expensive signing of all-time, topping the £75million they invested in centre-back Virgil van Dijk back in January 2018. His arrival at Anfield will significantly boost Klopp's attacking options, despite Sadio Mane being expected to leave the club for Bayern Munich.
