Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has been told that he is good enough to play for Liverpool.
The Reds were first linked with Zielinski back in 2016, during Jurgen Klopp’s first summer transfer window at the club. Despite there being strong rumours, the Poland international ended up moving to Napoli.
Since then, Zielinski has gone on to become one of the best midfielders in Serie A and has even drawn comparisons to Kevin De Bruyne. The 28-year-old has been valued at £45million in certain quarters, and has two years left to run on his contract.

Italian agent Gianluca di Carlo, who has experience of spotting young players in Poland, believes that Zielinski has the ability to play for a club like Liverpool. Di Carlo also thinks that the only way Zielinski would leave Napoli is if a club like Liverpool show an interest.
“I have known him since he was 16,” Di Carlo told Tuttomercatoweb.
“He is a great player. In my opinion, he could go and play for (the big) teams tomorrow, like Liverpool or Real Madrid.
“In short, Napoli is right to keep him. Therefore, I don’t think – unless there are offers from great clubs – that he will leave.”
