Liverpool qualified for the final of the Carabao Cup following a 2-0 semi-final second leg victory over Arsenal on Thursday night.
The Reds barely got out of second gear as a Diogo Jota double booked their place in the final round of the competition, with Arsenal struggling to create any real chances against Klopp's side.
Arsenal, who were forced to rush the likes of Takehiro Tomiyasu back from injury and bring Thomas Partey - who had returned to London from the Africa Cup of Nations that very same day - on from the bench, found it difficult to challenge Liverpool with a small squad.
The decision to bring Partey on also ultimately backfired after the Ghanaian was given a red card following a second bookable offence.
After the Gunners dug deep to secure a 0-0 draw at Anfield with 10-men the week before, it was very much a disappointing show from Mikel Arteta's side who quite clearly need squad reinforcement before the end of the window.
Nevertheless, Liverpool thoroughly deserved the win and have now earned a showdown with Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea on Sunday, February 27.
The Blues have reached their third final in two seasons under Tuchel and will be looking to add another bit of silverware to their trophy cabinet.
However, Jurgen Klopp is unfazed about the prospect of playing Chelsea at Wembley.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the German said: "I'm pretty sure the game [Carabao Cup final] will not be about two German managers but two really good football teams.
"We wanted desperately to go to the final, now it's Chelsea... fine. Let's give it a try."
Chelsea have the chance to win two trophies next month with the final of the Club World Cup being on Saturday, February 12.
But Klopp's determined outfit aren't going to make that easy, and Tuchel will need to prepare them for what is a huge game.
