Jurgen Klopp couldn't help but smile after Manchester City "killed" several journalists' questions before his post-match press conference could begin.
Liverpool boss Klopp was preparing to take questions from the media after seeing his side beat Watford 2-0 in Saturday's early kick-off in the Premier League, with the win taking the Reds to the top of the table after goals from Diogo Jota and Fabinho, the second a late penalty.
But with City heading to Turf Moor to face Burnley on Saturday afternoon, it was always very likely that Liverpool would quickly be knocked off the top of the league by a side who had been 14 points clear of the Reds in mid-January.
