Jurgen Klopp reveals unseen Liverpool celebrations after Wembley and responds to 'quadruple' claim

Liverpool's record-breaking Carabao Cup win on Sunday evening left the Reds hungry for more silverware and more celebrations.

However, Jurgen Klopp confirmed excessive partying wasn't on the agenda for him and his players once the squad returned to Merseyside as more trophies are to be won.

No team from England has ever won the quadruple and with the first domestic trophy in the cabinet, the Reds have kept their dream alive.

Klopp has played down talk of history, insisting his side 'aren't even close to it'.

Videos have emerged on social media of the Liverpool players dancing and singing in their Wembley dressing room after the penalty shootout victory over Chelsea, but that is where the celebrations ended. Almost.

"The party was in the dressing room. There was loud music on the bus, no music on the plane and we were home at 12:30am, but I couldn't sleep!" said Klopp.

"We gave the boys the day off yesterday. The celebrations were not too much."

Liverpool take on Norwich City for a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Wednesday, but Klopp isn't being lured into talk of a historic quadruple.

"No team has ever won it," the Liverpool boss highlighted.

"It's not that we are even close to it. We have won the Carabao Cup, we are behind City in the league and now we have Norwich in the FA Cup after 120 minutes on Sunday.

"I don't see it as a compliment but it's better people think we can do good things rather than be useless.

"We face a lot of good teams between now and end of May."
