Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted he is 'a little bit happy' to see Chelsea struggle this season after the Todd Boehly has spent over £600million on new signings. The Blues find themselves 10 points clear of the relegation zone in 12th position heading into their crucial fixture against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
Frank Lampard is yet to win after taking charge of five straight defeats following his return to Stamford Bridge as interim boss. Graham Potter was relived of his duties earlier this month, with Boehly on the search for another new manager.
Potter lasted just six months in charge of Chelsea after replacing Thomas Tuchel earlier in the season, but the former Brighton boss was unable to get the best out of the players at his disposal. Mauricio Pochettino has held positive talks with the west Londoners this month and is the favourite to become Chelsea's new manager, football.london understands.

Liverpool have endured their own difficulties this term but Klopp has revealed that he is 'a little bit happy' to see that Chelsea are struggling as well - despite spending over £600million on new signings.
The German told Sky Sports: "I feel a little bit for Chelsea to be honest, because it’s not going well, I think they’re a top, top team, but on the other side it's good to see that you cannot just bring top players together and think it works out.
"You have to build a team and that’s what the guys there underestimated and gave their coaches a nearly impossible job to do. You cannot have two dressing rooms, you cannot train on two pitches, you have to create relationships, you have to create team spirit, and that’s the only reason why I’m a little bit happy about it.
"Chelsea will be fine in the end and they will be incredibly strong next year, but I’m using them just as an example. At the highest level, no, we cannot do it like that - and that’s what we will not do.
"You have to bring in the right players and build a new team. This team wrote a sensational story and now we start a new one, that’s it."
Chelsea had to extend the dressing room due to all the new arrivals at the club, with eight more faces joining the club in the January transfer window. Klopp has previously commented on Chelsea's spend earlier this term, with the German responding to their outlay by saying he believed in 'coaching, developing and team building'.
Liverpool could be set for a busy summer transfer window themselves as Klopp prepares to rebuild his squad after a dismal season at Anfield. The Reds will be looking to bolster their midfield options with Mason Mount among the options being considered by the Merseyside outfit, football.london understands.
