Jurgen Klopp addresses incident involving Andy Robertson and linesman Constantine Hatzidakis

Jurgen Klopp refused to be drawn on the incident involving Andy Robertson and Constantine Hatzidakis.

Robertson claimed to have been elbowed by linesman Hatzidakis at half-time of Liverpool's crunch match against Arsenal. The Gunners led 2-1 at the break.

The Scotland international was seen approaching Hatzidakis, who then appeared to raise his arm towards the defender. Members of the Reds’ squad then surrounded referee Paul Tierney following the incident, with Robertson receiving a yellow card.

The Professional Game Match Officials Limited released a statement during the game, which finished 2-2 after Roberto Firmino scored late, confirming they were aware of the incident and would review the matter in full once the game had concluded.

And asked about the clash by Sky Sports post-match, Klopp said: "Nothing. I know it happened, but I didn’t watch it. If it happened, the pictures will speak for themselves."

Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus fired the Gunners ahead before Mohamed Salah, who also missed a penalty in the second-half, pulled a goal back before the interval. Firmino then scored in the final minutes to rescue his side a point."

Speaking in his post-match press conference, he added: "I didn’t see it. Now obviously I have time to watch it but I didn’t, just because I cannot give you the answers. I didn’t see it. I heard the pictures speak for themselves. I cannot say anymore. I didn’t see a bit.

"No (we haven’t heard from the officials). They don’t come to us, if we want to have something then we have to go to them. And I didn’t want anything."
