Junior Andre blasts 'soulless' 'coloniser' Queen comments and slams generation as 'unserious'

Junior Andre slammed the 'soulless' comments about t he Queen he has seen by people his age following the news of Her Majesty's death on Thursday.

The nation's longest serving monarch passed away at Balmoral at the age of 96. as members of the royal family raced to her bedside.

While the UK mourned Queen Elizabeth II's death, opinion writers from The New York Times, New York Magazine and Atlantic were among those who openly celebrated and called out the monarchy for historic ties with colonialism.

Peter Andre and Katie Price's son Junior, 17, took it upon himself to call out people from his generation who were not showing respect.

He also slammed his peers, saying some of the comments he had seen were "all for likes" and he felt they were heartless.

Junior shared a post written by presenter David Whiteley on Instagram, which read: "This generation is seeing so much mad things back to back. It's one of the maddest times to be alive. And also... the most unserious generation ever.

"Some of the soulless comments I've read, all for likes and a pinned comment."

On David's original post, dozens of others had commented on how they had been upset by some negative remarks regarding the Royal Family's history on social media.

One wrote: "Totally agree. The disgusting vitriol taking place on Twitter today regarding the passing of our Queen is appalling. I really do fear for our future."

While another added: "Yes I agree. Totally disgusting."

Junior's mum Katie Price confirmed that her new Channel 4 documentary, which was due to air on Thursday, had been cancelled as she paid tribute to the Queen following her death.

The former glamour model, 44, was to appear in a documentary exploring her struggle with trauma.

However, she revealed that the show has been pulled following the announcement of the Queen's ill health.

Taking to Instagram today, Katie told her followers: "My film on @channel4 this evening is being moved to a later date due to the Queen's illness.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family at this time."

The statement from Buckingham Palace read: "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

"The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow."

On Thursday afternoon Buckingham Palace issued a rare statement to say the Queen was 'under medical supervision' at her castle in Scotland after doctors became concerned for her health.

Her family travelled to Balmoral to be by her side before the passing was confirmed. Queen Elizabeth II has reigned over the United Kingdom since 1952 and is the country’s longest-serving monarch. Her death marks the end of the Elizabethan era and is certain to trigger an extended period of national mourning.

Prince Charles, her eldest son, now becomes King having held the position of Prince of Wales for the longest period in history. Prince William is now expected to inherit that title. On Tuesday the Queen was pictured in a historic audience with Liz Truss, as she appointed her as the new Prime Minister.
