Democrat Julia Brownley has secured her reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing California's 26th Congressional District. In a closely watched race, Brownley emerged victorious over Republican challenger Michael Koslow.
With a background in marketing and sales, Brownley first entered the political arena by serving in the state Assembly for six years. She then successfully ran for a seat in the House in 2012, marking the beginning of her tenure in federal office.
