Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has been absent from his starting spot since Week 7 when he had to leave the field early in the defending Super Bowl champions’ matchup against the San Fransisco 49ers.
JuJu Smith-Schuster injury update
Starter Smith-Schuster aggravated a hamstring injury in Week 7, which forced him to take some time off to recover.
Though it is unclear whether he will play against the Buffalo Bills in Week 11, he was a limited participant in Kansas City’s practice session on Wednesday and his status seems to be trending up.
How long will JuJu Smith-Schuster be out?
It is unknown if Smith-Schuster will return in Week 11, head coach Andy Reid has indicated there is a “good chance” based on how he fares in this week’s practices.
Chiefs WR depth chart
With Smith-Schuster’s availability undecided, Kansas City’s offense may have to rely more heavily on wideouts Xavier Worthy, DeAndre Hopkins, Mecole Hardman, and Justin Watson.
Wide receivers Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown, and Skyy Moore remain on injured reserve.
