As we enter the final days of the summer transfer window, Liverpool continue to be linked with some of Europe's most high-profile midfielders following Jurgen Klopp's public U-turn on the Reds' stance surrounding the potential additions to the club's engine room ranks late last week.
Links range from shrewd end-of-contract deals to potential world-record fees and everything else in between.
Here are the latest developments of those linked with a summer switch to Anfield.

Konrad Laimer
The RB Leipzig midfielder who has less than a year remaining on his contract with the Bundesliga outfit has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in recent days.
German outlet Kicker claim that the midfielder could be available for as little as £25m this summer with Bayern Munich and Liverpool said to be interested in his services.
The 25-year-old Austrian has been at Leipzig since 2017 and has racked up over 100 appearances in the German top flight.
Jude Bellingham
The England international has been one name that has failed to go away all summer, despite Borussia Dortmund's resilience in seemingly keeping hold of their latest young star this summer, rumours continue to service linking the 19-year-old with a move to Anfield.
On Sunday evening, the club's sporting director issued an update on Bellingham's 'not for sale tag' insisting that the Bundesliga side even had hopes of keeping Bellingham at the club beyond the summer of 2023.
"There is a lot of interest, I can imagine that," said Sebastian Kehl, the club's former midfielder. "Jude is a player who is known beyond the borders of Germany.
“I hope that Jude Bellingham will stay at BVB beyond 2023. I can see he feels super comfortable with us."
Ruben Neves
Liverpool's links to signing Ruben Neves date back to the midfielder's time at Portuguese giants FC Porto. The 25-year-old who has two years left on his current contract seemingly refused to rule out leaving Wolves this summer prior to the club's 1-1 draw with Newcastle on Sunday.
"Well, let’s see what happens," he told the Times last week. "I try to focus 100 per cent on my football and I had a good start to the season but we need results now. If you ask me at the end of last season I would have said to you, ‘I will leave’ but I’m still here, so we never know what’s going to happen.”
"One of the things I miss most is the Champions League, it’s the best competition in the world to play in. So let’s try to achieve that."
Youri Tielemans
Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans has been described as "available" as Liverpool consider their midfield options in the days before the transfer deadline.
Despite Reds boss Jurgen Klopp making a public U-turn on his stance late last week as he admitted the club would look to strengthen their midfield ranks, however, it would still need to be the "right" player all things considered for Liverpool to complete their dramatic transfer turnaround.
According to Sky Sports' Melissa Reddy, Tielemans is one of the options the Reds could consider.
"Youri Tielemans profiles well and is available, but there clearly hasn't been enough credence in what he offers and how to integrate it within the specific functionalities of midfield," writes the Sky Sports reporter.
"If primary targets are not available - and there's no guarantee over them next summer either - then a short-term fix that has the tools to develop into long-term solution may work in this scenario."
Moises Caicedo
Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is another who has been consistently linked with Liverpool in recent weeks.
The 20-year-old joined Brighton from Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle and despite making just 12 starts for the Seagulls since breaking into the side last season, he's very highly regarded by Graham Potter.
And it's for that reason that the club are said to be dead against selling him this summer, despite reports that Liverpool are willing to pay £42m for his services.
