Jude Bellingham has told Graham Potter what he will need from Chelsea to make him happy and content if the Blues were to win the much anticipated £150million transfer battle for his services.
The England international is quickly becoming the most sought-after young player in world football and he demonstrated the hype surrounding his own talent on home soil last week. His opening goal on Wednesday night against Manchester City in the Champions League capped off an impressive outing against a top-class Pep Guardiola outfit.
The Athletic have reported that Liverpool and Manchester United are the current frontrunners to land the 19-year-old prodigy. However, Chelsea and others further abroad like Real Madrid also retain their interest but face a battle to land the midfielder.
Chelsea themselves could have a few vacancies opening up in their midfield with N'Golo Kanté and Jorginho currently set to leave as free agents at the end of 2022/23, while it's unknown whether or not Denis Zakaria's loan move will become permanent, with the Swiss still not having made his first competitive start amid his recent admission over his decision to move to Stamford Bridge.

With at least one spot expected to open up in the midfield, it's unsurprising that Chelsea's name has been touted around in this transfer race for the former Birmingham City youngster. He's already told Graham Potter and his coaching staff in a previous interview what he will want from whatever club he decides to sign for.
"I have my destiny in my hands," he told Ruhr Nachrichten BVB (via 90 min) back in May 2022. "I know that if I try hard and trust the people around me, I can move forward. I came from England as a young talent. There was not much pressure. The first season went well. There were also matches where I sat on the bench and sometimes I did not play at all.
"I think my development this year has meant that I have played a bigger role in every game except two. I am very grateful to Dortmund for the way they have nurtured my talent.
"I think a lot of the credit goes to the coaching staff and the staff who keep the noise around me. In this way, I can only focus on winning matches, because that’s what I’m here for."
