Celtic star Jota drew a blank when asked during an interview if he recognised former Rangers and St Mirren striker Steven Thompson.
The ex-Benfica man has been in Scotland 18 months but he has yet to familiarise himself with the Sportscene host who was covering his former side's 5-1 defeat at the hands of the champions. And the BBC interviewer asked Jota if he was familiar with local hero Thompson but the charismatic winger admitted he was stumped as he peeked towards the gantry.
He said: "Who? I am sorry mate, who is he, who is he? I am sorry." Thompson could be heard laughing from above as the Celtic hero tried his best at diplomacy. In fairness, Thompson's playing career came to an end five years before he arrived on these shores and became of the key men under Ange Postecoglou.
