Jota's move from Celtic to Al-Ittihad is 'imminent', according to top transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The 24-year-old Portuguese has reportedly already had discussions with fellow countryman and Al-Ittihad manager Nuno Espírito Santo, with the deal expected to be completed next week. It comes after Romano announced that Jota had 'agreed' personal terms with the Saudi Pro-League club as he's set to put pen to paper on a life changing deal.
Jota is set to net Celtic a huge transfer fee with the deal reportedly worth £25million plus add ons. Jota's former club Benfica are due a 30 per cent slice of that, with a transfer sell-on clause included in Celtic's original deal. Expert Romano said: "Understand Al Ittihad coach Nuno has already spoken to Jota about his transfer considered imminent and set to be completed next week. Fee gonna be around €30m, discussions ongoing."
