Josie Gibson has stunned her fans as she took to Instagram with some gorgeous snaps before her This Morning return. It was revealed earlier this week that the presenter will be back at the helm of the ITV daytime show next week.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were thought to be fronting the popular programme for two weeks as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield enjoy their usual Easter break. However, that's not the case and the pair are being replaced from Easter Monday (April 10).
It was Craig Doyle who confirmed that he'll be back hosting the show next week alongside Josie after proving a hit with This Morning viewers. He confirmed the news in a post on his Instagram Story on Wednesday (April 5). He shared a selfie of himself and Josie in the ITV studio as well as a snap of the pair in action, with a smiling Craig resting his head on a beaming Josie's shoulder.
The 52-year-old Irish TV presenter then wrote: "Reunited on the This Morning sofa all next week." Former Big Brother winner Josie then reshared the post with her own followers and said: "See you soon Doyleroo."
And before returning to the small screen, Josie took to Instagram with a string of snaps as she got a makeover from her very own glam squad. The 38-year-old looked gorgeous as she stared into the camera with her blonde locks styled into curls with a quiffed fringe while sporting a nude-toned palette of makeup.
A second image gave a full look at Josie's outfit. The mum-of-one posed with one hand on her hip as she donned a long-sleeved denim dress which flowed down to her shins. She added a brown belt that cinched her in at the waist to show off her fabulous curves while she added a pair of boots to her feet.
"Thank you to the most amazing women in my life," she captioned the post. And it wasn't long before the compliments came flooding in with Vanessa Feltz among the first to respond, writing: "Absolutely ravishing." Fellow former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler said: "So pretty." Steps star Ian 'H' Watkins simply commented: "Stunner." While former Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley typed: "I mean," before adding a string of love heart eyes emojis.
And her fans and followers were sharing comments too. @miadorawilliams penned: "Jeeze us! Who even are you," alongside a number of flame emojis. @chrissy_brind said: "Love your hair and makeup." @ella.bates replied: "ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUSSSSSS," with a string of flames.
@lolcarr57 commented: "You look stunning Josie." @gardentogarnish posted: "Serious Marilyn vibes!! Beautiful." @munrosandstuff wrote: "Aaahh! You look amazing!!" @lilaflintroberts posted: "Gorgeous gorgeous girl." @charlenemakaddas typed: "You look amazing didn't recognise you." @sparkles_45_sarah added: "Looking sensational."
The post came before Alison shared a message about Josie's next stint on This Morning after hosting her last show for a week. The 48-year-old posted a selfie of herself and Dermot to her Instagram Story after wrapping on Friday's show (April 7). "Thanks to the amazing team @thismorning.
"You truly are the best in the business. Thanks @dermotoleary for being the perfect partner in crime. I had a ball this week. Looking forward to passing the baton onto @josiegibson85 and @cragdoyle."
