Cleveland Browns backup quarterback Josh Dobbs got the start on Sunday in the Browns’ second preseason game.
He might need a new jersey before halftime.
On Cleveland’s opening possession of the game, the Browns faced a second down just inside Philadelphia territory. The Eagles brought pressure off the right edge, but Dobbs did just enough to make the initial defender miss before spinning away from danger and racing upfield for a first down.
And when we say just enough, well, we mean it:
They tried to take his jersey but @josh_dobbs1 said NOT TODAY.

As you can see, Dobbs nearly loses his jersey as he escapes from danger:

The quarterback finished off the drive with this short touchdown run, which might not be how the Browns drew it up, but still counts in the box score:
Just like he drew it up. @josh_dobbs1 does it himself!

One cannot help but imagine that above image being featured in a Nike commercial sometime soon…
