Jose Cifuentes ramps up Rangers transfer pressure on Los Angeles FC after social media 'sell him' plea

Los Angeles FC midfielder Jose Cifuentes has ramped up the pressure on his current club to sell him this summer as he nears a move to Rangers.

Record Sport reported that the Ibrox side were set to hold further talks with the Ecuador star and Stefan Jarrin to negotiate a contract for the star, with his deal in Major League Soccer set to expire at the end of the year. Reports from the playmaker's homeland suggested that suggest that the LA FC star has agreed terms over a contract that will take him to the Scottish Premiership - but the American side had yet to agree a transfer wee with the Light Blues.

The 24-year-old's contract will expire at the end of the year when the LMS season is concluded, and LA FC do not want the player to leave for nothing when his contract expires. It appears Cifuentes is keen to give his club a push to sell with his response to social media comments.

Cifuentes has taken to social media to respond to fans who are calling for a move to take place, and he has liked many of their posts. One fan demanded "sell him ASAP" while an LA FC fan chimed in "he’s not playing well at all sell him while there’s still hype" - both which were liked by the star.
