Jorgie Porter praised as she shares breastfeeding experience and sends supportive message to fellow mums

Soap beauty Jorgie Porter has been updating fans about her journey as a new mum, and she took to Instagram to share about her breastfeeding experience. Hollyoaks star Jorgie, 35, welcomed baby boy Forest with her fiance Oliver Piotrowski last month.

A few days ago the Theresa McQueen actress popped on social media to post a selection of adorable photos of herself gazing at Forest and her boy snuggled asleep on her chest. "Still pinching myself," she typed. And she asked her followers: "Can you believe he’s actually here?!"

In her latest post she shared pictures of herself breastfeeding Forest on the sofa. "If you need me you can find me here for the foreseeable," she captioned the pictures as she jokingly referred to her son as the 'boob monster.'

"Forest aka the boob monster. Feel like he’s growing so much at the moment, it’s cluster feeding non stop," she explained. "Still in total amazement of what the female body can do."

She then added: "Anyone else going through this stage I hope the remote control is close, snacks are handy and someone is supplying you with endless cups of tea and refilling your water bottle! The thirst is real! #firsttimemum #postpartum."

"So special," replied mother-of-three Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan. Former co-star Nadine Mulkerrin, who played Cleo McQueen in the Channel Four soap, told her: "Gorgeous xx well done mummy."

lisaneilson87 told her: "I feel you this is my current situation as well." And rachel.mccrum14 praised: "Thank you for normalising breastfeeding. It’s so refreshing to see new moms, especially those with a platform like yours, to show something so natural."

She continued: "My little boy self weaned in July, 3 weeks before his 3rd birthday. Enjoy these early days, as tiring as it is, because you will long for them when he’s older."

mummy_to_4est2017 wrote: "Two and a half weeks into my 4th breastfeeding journey. Honestly seeing people in the public eye like yourself normalising breastfeeding is amazing to see keep up the good work xx"

And cdakotab said: "So glad you have shared this and especially mentioning cluster feeding. Many mums who are new to breastfeeding put so much pressure on themselves to still do everything they would before and also question their supply when cluster feeding happens.

"I'm so glad you are showing its completely okay and probably the best thing to do, to just relax, put a show on, have drinks and snacks and just boob as much as baby wants. Congratulations on your new baby."
