Johnny Depp fans emotional as he gives surprise UK performance amid Amber Heard trial

Johnny Depp left fans at a Jeff Beck gig stunned when the actor made a surprise appearance on stage.

The star appeared alongside the legendary rocker as he appeared in Sheffield as part of his current European tour.

Audience members could hardly believe what they were seeing.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 58, sang his cover of Isolation, which was originally a John Lennon song and was released by Depp and Beck in 2020.

Depp - who is currently awaiting the jury's decision over his multimillion dollar libel trial with ex-wife Amber Heard- sang his cover of Isolation, which was originally a John Lennon song and was released by Depp and Beck in 2020.

The tune has recently re-entered the charts amid the actor's on-going case with Heard, which will be decided tomorrow (Tuesday).

Taking to Twitter to share a clip of the performance, one user wrote: "Just been to see Jeff Beck at Sheffield City Hall, he had a surprise special guest, Johnny Depp!!"

Another gushed: "The fact that Johnny Depp is in Sheffield makes me want to cry!!!!! Im off on a road trip," while a third said: "Johnny is an absolute mad man…leaves court Friday..playing a gig in Sheffield UK Sunday.. with Jeff Beck..mind blown #JohnnyDepp"

A fourth was just as shocked at his cameo, writing in block capitals: "JOHNNY DEPP IS IN SHEFFIELD."

Depp has long held aspirations of being a rock star and has been involved in the music industry for as long as he's been a well known face.

He was previously a part of Alice Cooper's side project band called The Hollywood Vampires, who he played guitar for, and he's also worked with Beck on music throughout lockdown.

His appearance in the UK would have surely been a welcome distraction amid his highly publicised court case with his actress ex.

He is suing his former wife for $50 million for defamation over an opinion piece she wrote about domestic violence in the Washington Post.

She didn't name her superstar ex but he claims the allegations have caused his career and reputation irreparable damage.

The Aquaman actress has filed a countersuit against the star and is seeking almost £78 million in damages after claiming a former attorney of Depp, Adam Waldman, falsely accused her of fabricating events against the actor.
