Young Rangers defender Johnly Yfeko has signed a new contract keeping him at Ibrox until 2024.
The 18-year-old, who only joined the Scottish champions in January, has wasted no time in impressing as part of David McCallum's B team setup.
And the club have moved quickly to tie the former Leicester City youth down for longer.
Yfeko, who also had a trial at Southampton after being released by the Foxes last summer, went under the radar as an addition to the team competing in the Lowland League this season.
He can play at left-back and centre-back in the same mould as current first team star Calvin Bassey, who also made the switch from the King Power in summer 2020.
And he's clearly caught the eye with his performances in the fifth tier earning a new contract that should take him up to his 21st birthday.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has already added to his defence for next season with John Souttar set to join on a pre-contract from Hearts in the summer.
But there remain question marks over out-of-contract Connor Goldson, who may move on at the end of the season.
