John Travolta surprised staff at a local branch of Morrisons in Norfolk over the weekend when he popped in to collect some groceries.
The 68-year-old actor appeared at the Fakenham branch of the high-street supermarket chain over the weekend and appeared happy to pose for snaps with fans.
Photos of the actor with staff members, including a part-time security guard named Gary Middleton, have circulated online – with shoppers also expressing their surprise at seeing the star waltzing through the aisles.
While some have revealed that the actor himself was the one to break the ice and approach before posting for a photo while he was out and about.
Security guard Gary told the Eastern Daily Press: “I didn’t even go up to him. He just came up to me and shook my hand. We had a really nice chat.”
As fellow shoppers realised they were picking up their shopping alongside an A-Lister, many gathered around to say hello.
The actor reportedly spent an hour chatting with fans and staff members as well as happily posing for snaps for social media.
But it wasn’t just Morrisons that John popped in to – as he also ended up mingling with fans when he visited a branch of Wetherspoons in Dereham.
One staff member shared a snap of himself with John at The Romany Rye, writing on Instagram : “So... I met John Travolta at work... a little starstruck to say the least.”
A customer named Jamie Salter said online: “Meeting John Travolta was unreal; Dereham doesn’t usually play host to some of the most famous Hollywood stars on the planet.

“I feel extremely lucky to have met him as it certainly wasn’t what I expected to experience on a Thursday night out in Dereham.”
He continued: “I enjoy going to The Romany Rye often and never would have anticipated my night going this way.”
John is in the Fakenham area currently filming a new film titled Paradise City.
He was in the City of Angels just over a week earlier where he appeared on stage at the now infamous 94th annual Academy Awards.
John and his Pulp Fiction co-star, Uma Thurman, presented Will Smith with the Best Actor gong for his role as Richard Williams in the sports biopic King Richard.
But Will brought shame on himself and the entire Academy when he stormed the stage to slap Chris Rock when he made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Will later resigned from the Academy, saying in a statement: "I betrayed the trust of the Academy. I deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work. I am heartbroken.
"So, I am resigning from membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate.”
